Language Proficiency Assessment
The Health Education Center provides a Language Proficiency Assessment (LPA) which can determine if a present or potential staff member, or a student can speak two languages proficiently enough to be qualified bilinguals

Community Health Worker Certification
Introduces learners to the core concepts of the community health worker programs and explores what is needed to build and strengthen large scale programs in order to improve access to high-quality health services.

Medical Interpreting Program
The Medical Interpreter Program (MIP) establishes a foundation for all healthcare and community interpreters by providing specialised training in healthcare, education, and community iterpretation. An INterpreter learns cultral systems that make communication skills pertinent in healthier and safer lifestyles as well as expeertise in the code of ethics; modes and techniques of community interpreting; and common medical concepts and procedures terminology.

First Aid/CPR/AED Training
Train yourself or your employees with the knowledge and skills need for effective leadership in the event of an emergency. Our American Red Cross Certified Trainers provide Adult First Aid and CPR/AED trainings with options available to suit your employee’s needs.

Applied Suicide Intervention Skills (ASIST) Training
Health Education Center, Inc. provides ASIST trainings. "Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) is a two-day interactive workshop in suicide first aid. ASIST teaches participants to recognize when someone may have thoughts of suicide and work with them to create a plan that will support their immediate safety."
